Transcript of the Frank Spotnitz video message

"Hello everyone at X-CON in Berlin. This is Frank Spotnitz talking to you from Los Angeles, California and I wish I could be there with you this weekend.
I really hoped that I would be able to make it and I hope that there is some future X-CON I will be able to join you in person.
But I wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you and even though I'm not there I'm celebrating with you 16 amazing years of The X-Files.
We were doing the show, Chris and I always used to think that how great it would be if it lived on beyond it's initial broadcast.
And now all these years later to see that there are people like you who still love the show, who are excited and inspired by it is incredible satisfying to us.

I don't think the X-Files story is over yet, I expect it to continue and I hope that we have good news for all of you in the months ahead.
But in the meantime I just want to say thank you for all of your support and your love and I think you have built an amazing community of fans across the world.
I hear from you all the day on my website which is a continuing source of joy to me. So thank you for being here, I wish I could be there in person but I'm with you in spirit and see you next time."
